We will start off the practice with a dynamic warm-up, increasing the athlete's heart rate, getting blood pumping to their exercising muscles as well as warming up their joints.
Once the athlete is warmed up, we will then enter the event specific practice whether it is in the sprints, jumps, or throws area.
If the athlete is in preseason we will be focusing 50% of the time on increasing their agility, balance, coordination, power and speed while the other 50% of the time will be spent focusing on the event specific movements and techniques. Once the athlete is approaching season we will focus primarily on the event specific movements and techniques. Once the session is over we will have a cool down (depending on the event and practice type).

Client Reviews

This was my first time with a private coach and I learned so much about throwing and I’ve been doing it for 3 years. Coach Cueva knows what’s she’s doing and know exactly how to explain everything! She breaks down the basics and makes sure you leave knowing what to practice and how to before you leave. Thank you Coach Cueva
