I was a competitive weight lifter for 15 years. I was the State of Oregon and regional champion and State of oregon record holder.

I am Master of science in teaching physical education and health and was the Oregon Assn Chairman for the United States Weightlifting Association for 11 years.
I coached discus, shot put, javelin and hammer for 5 years.
I have been coaching weightlifting for 11 years and have coached a National and World Champion Power lifting athlete and World Record holder.

I also have extensive experience in the new crossfit arena.
