More About Coach Brandon
As far as coaching, I've coached youth and high school football. Five years at the youth level (Manzano and Volcano Vista) and 2 years as a high school receiver and defensive back coach at Highland High School. I've trained players from the ages of 6 all the way up to college and pro players. I train every aspect of the game from speed and conditioning to position specific training.
I was a 4 year Letterman in football and track and basketball. At Highland High School
I was a 3-time 1st team all-state DB and. 2-time all-star WR.
I held the state record in the 200m
3-time 200m state champ
2001 Gatorade player of the year for T&F
2001
3-time 4x100m champ
2nd place in the 200m at the Great Southwest
I played at Eastern New Mexico University as a defensive back.
I also attended 2 regional NFL combines in 2005 and 2006..
Atlanta & Dallas
And played 1 arena football season for the New Mexico Stars be for I suffered a career ending knee injury..
We always start off with a 5 minute warm up run. Followed by some static and dynamic stretching. Then we start our resistance band work whether arm or leg day. After that we go into speed and agility work followed by some lifting. After our lifting is completed we do field drills and position specific training. I love to do drills with tired legs. After the field drills we get into footwork and coordination and some balance exercises. After that we take a light jog down and they are free to go after they stretch.
