I have extensive experience coaching and training athletes in both basketball and football, across a wide range of age groups and skill levels. I specialize in fitness and athletic development, focusing on improving strength, conditioning, agility, and sport-specific skills to enhance overall performance.

In basketball, I have coached athletes from youth players as young as 4 years old to professionals. For the past decade, I’ve been a head coach at Camp Lakers, a premier program organized by the Los Angeles Lakers, where I help athletes refine their technical skills and overall fitness. I’ve also worked with notable organizations like ProSkills, the American Roundball Conference, YMCA, Adams Middle School, Redondo Union High School, and Los Angeles Harbor Community College. I have trained athletes across youth, high school, collegiate, and professional levels, providing tailored coaching to help them reach their athletic potential.

In football, I began my coaching career working with youth athletes aged 8 to 14 in the Pacific Coast Conference, focusing on skill position development and overall conditioning. At the high school and collegiate levels, I specialized in training running backs and receivers, with an emphasis on speed, agility, and positional strength. Throughout my athletic career, I have competed at the highest levels in both football and basketball, achieving significant success and recognition across multiple stages.

In football, I led my youth team to a National Championship victory in middle school, where I was named MVP of the championship game. During high school, I played four years on varsity, contributing to three consecutive conference championships and earning MVP honors twice. I was also recognized with All-Bay League honors for three years and All-Area recognition for two. At the collegiate level, I competed at Fairmont State University, where I was named to the First Team All-Conference for two consecutive years. My professional football career took me to the Omaha Beef of Nebraska, where I played for four years and earned Rookie of the Year honors in my debut season.

In basketball, I earned multiple championships and MVP awards at the youth level. In middle school, I was named Most Valuable Player out of more than 100 competing Catholic schools. At Redondo Union High School, I was a 4-year varsity starter, earning All-Bay League, All-Conference, and All-Area honors. At the collegiate level, I competed at both Los Angeles Harbor College and Fairmont State University, earning Team MVP and First Team All-Conference honors while leading my team to a conference championship.

In a typical fitness session, clients can expect a high-energy, structured workout that is tailored to their fitness level and specific goals. I focus on building core strength, improving conditioning, and enhancing overall athletic performance through a mix of functional movements, strength training, and conditioning drills. Each session is designed to push the athlete while emphasizing proper technique and injury prevention.

Session Breakdown:
1. **Dynamic Warm-Up**: We start with 10-15 minutes of dynamic movements, mobility exercises, and light cardio to elevate heart rate, increase mobility, and prepare the body for more intense work. This could include agility drills, resistance band exercises, and bodyweight movements like lunges or high knees.

2. **Strength & Conditioning**: Depending on the athlete’s focus, we’ll transition into strength training with exercises like squats, deadlifts, push-ups, or kettlebell work to build muscle and enhance endurance. For conditioning, we may incorporate high-intensity interval training (HIIT), sprint work, or circuit training to improve cardiovascular fitness and stamina.

3. **Functional & Core Work**: Functional exercises like kettlebell swings, medicine ball slams, and TRX rows are incorporated to enhance stability, mobility, and balance. We also dedicate time to core-focused drills such as planks, Russian twists, or stability ball exercises to improve core strength and athletic performance.

4. **Targeted Drills**: For clients focused on sports performance, I incorporate sport-specific drills to enhance speed, agility, and explosiveness. This could include ladder drills, cone drills, or plyometric movements like box jumps, depending on the sport or fitness goals.

5. **Cool-Down & Reflection**: The session ends with a guided cool-down involving static stretching and foam rolling to promote recovery and prevent injury. I’ll take time to discuss the client’s performance, highlight areas for improvement, and set clear goals for future sessions to ensure consistent progress.
