More About Coach Brailin
I have been a Head Coach for Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country and Track Teams & Middle School Track Teams at IDEA Mission; I have coached ages 7-19 Privately as well.
Dominican Republic National Team 16U
Dominican Republic National Team 18U
Division 1 Track at Cornell University
Dominican Republic Olympic Team (2016) [Injury a few weeks prior prevented me from running]
My first focus is relationships with my athletes. I care more about the person than the athlete, so I will serve as a mentor and support athletes emotionally. My Sessions will always include proper running mechanics. If athletes cannot run properly, they will never be able to reach their full potential. Then, I focus on building strength and conditioning. As a 100/200 specialist, I honed in on the power, patience, and control necessary to succeed in the sprints. Every athlete that has worked out with me has left permanently stronger and faster!

You provide a safe space for us and you always spread your love unto others i am so thankful to have you in my life you have helped me so much and theres no words to describe how much i care about you and how much i appreciate all of the things you have done for me.
Rodrigo Garcia, Athlete (Testimonial)
Although many people will say that a family member has impacted them in their life, this person for me is actually my track coach. After I was convinced by a former teacher and by family to stay in the same school I had been at since first grade (for high school), I enjoyed the benefits of being in a community I had known basically my entire life. This unintentionally resulted in me discovering a sport I love and establishing a relationship with a mentor that has been at my side for all of high school. l initially joined the track team in hopes of staying consistent with my physical activity during covid. It was a high learning curve to hop on, but after a few months of training, I really got into the rhythm of the sport of track and field. Fast forward from that first year and Mr. Paulino and I are now past the usual relationship of a coach and athlete. He is a role model, a mentor, and a person I can count on all the time. He has taught me real life skills and has guided me to becoming the best athlete and person I can be. He has shown me that grit, composure, and having big goals sets a person up for success in whatever path they go down.
