More About Coach Brad

I am currently the Offensive Line coach at Cumberland University. I have been coaching college football for a total of 5 years with my first two years being a Defensive Graduate Assistant at Virginia Tech. The positions I feel comfortable giving great lessons to are OL/DL, TEs, LBs, and RBs. My previous experience giving lessons before I began my college career included giving lessons to middle and high school OL/DL in Louisiana. I have given lessons to up to 5 clients at a time and could easily do more.

I was a four year starter on the offensive line at the FBS (D-1A) level from 2006-2009. I was twice selected first team all-conference and team captain of my team. After college I signed a contract with Hartford Colonials of the United Football League.

The drills and the way I will run my sessions will depend on the positions I will be working with. Every position can do some of the same agility, speed, and strength drills so that is what I will begin every session with. After that, I will begin to do position-specific drills to teach them the game of football. Just because you are big, strong, and/or can run fast does not make you a great football player. Knowledge of the game itself, technique, and instincts are absolutely more important. At the end of each session there will be a finisher drill that will push each client to improve their mental toughness.
