More About Coach Ddd

I work with all age groups from Elementary to High School athletes. As a certified strength and conditioning specialist my philosophy is to establish a strong athletic foundation for the athlete to build upon. I have worked with kids (ages 5-18), collegiate, and professional athletes. While my primary clients are athletes, I have also instructed adults through similar training styles. I can work with anyone interested in improving their strength & conditioning, weight loss, or improving their overall health.

I was a multi-sport athlete at Calvary Baptist High School in Shreveport, LA where I lettered in soccer, track, basketball and football. As a senior, I was invited to represent the West in LHSAA's All-Star Soccer Game. I also was a finalist in the 4x400 at the state championships in track and field.

As an athlete in high school, I had some of the best strength and conditioning coaches in the area - both certified by NSCA. One trainer was awarded Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year by the Professional Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society. The other was named a Level 1 Track Coach by USA Track and Field.

My main goal in high school was to become the best athlete I could be and I was able to succeed by focusing on my strength and conditioning.

All athletes will be assessed before each workout begins. Workouts will be centered around each individual athlete's needs and what they are looking to improve on. Proper form m and technique will be emphasized in all aspects of training. Each session will begin with a dynamic warm-up preparing the athlete for the workout. Following the warm-up exercises, a high-intensity workout to increase speed, agility and strength will begin. During the workout, athletes will use agility ladders to better their footwork, cone drills to improve their agility/change of direction and explosive sprint drills to increase their speed. Explosiveness is a key attribute to become a strong athlete and will be developed using both plyometrics and weights. Upper body strength will be developed using both "push" and "pull" variations of bodyweight exercises and weighted movements. Following the workout, a cool-down and stretch will conclude the session. This will help lessen susceptibility to injuries, improve flexibility and decrease recovery time. Each session will build upon the previous.

All online sessions follow the same protocol as well as monitor athlete progress throughout the duration of the programming.

Client Reviews

My first session with Coach Scott was great. We went over my goals and after getting his assessment, he implemented the best workout plan for me. I am excited to continue training with him.
Coach Scott has been working with me for the past 3 months. In that time I have seen significant improvement in my strength and have been able to reach new personal best on my major lifts. I have also dropped some time off of my 40yd sprint. The work I have put in with coach Scott has translated well onto the playing field for me.
