The initial session consists of an assessment of the player's ability. We discuss goals and build from the core of what the athlete excels at. Parents and kids love my enthusiasm and encouragement. Each session is timed and fast paced. I always explain the 'why' behind each drill and ask the athlete questions to make sure they are absorbing the lesson. Each session is unique to the athlete and built around what he/she needs to level up.

My son has learned skills to help with shooting and ball handling. He looks forward to his sessions with Coach Bill.

Coach Bill connected with my son right away and knew what areas my son needs to work on. He has good knowledge and experience.

Coach Bill is an amazingly talented coach. We played for him some years back and are extremely happy to find him here with CoachUp. He works so well with his athletes and after just one session, my son is anxious to return. Great coach!

Key word is “PATIENCE”… This man has PATIENCE. I’m excited about the future.

Coach Bill was great! My 9 year old daughter loved the first session, and immediately wanted to sign up for more.

We have been very pleased with Coach Bill. Jacob feels very comfortable with him and I believe his confidence has improved. He is learning with each session and practices every day on what they worked on!

My son had his first lesson with Coach Bill and I was impressed with how much they went over in 1 session. His drills were on point (especially dribbling and shooting). What I appreciate the most is he made sure my son was doing the drills accurately before moving in to the next set. Most coaches let bad techniques and form slide and that hurts the athlete in the long run. Looking forward to future sessions.

Coach Bill has really helped me develop my game. I appreciate how invested he is in my improvement and that each session is individualized, focusing on the aspects that I need to work on.

First session was great. A good start on shooting mechanics which has really helped.

My son usually takes a while to warm up to folks however he felt comfortable with Bill and had a great first session. Bill is very knowledgeable and breaks things down to a palatable level. We look forward to continuing with Bill.

I wish I had started my son's training with Bill years ago! I thought my 13-year-old would enjoy some additional coaching and scheduled a couple sessions with Bill for him to try it out. He was a little wary in the beginning, but now he loves it and has been training with Bill for about five months. There was a visible improvement in his skills and confidence during his CYO season and he wants to continue training, even though the season is over, because he enjoys the Saturday morning training sessions so much. As I said, I wish I had found Bill years ago when my son first started playing CYO. Bill is easy to get ahold of and very accommodating with schedule changes. If you're on the fence, I recommend booking a session!

Great coach. !!

Coach Bill was a great help for my nephew’s confidence and fundamentals. He was knowledgeable & easy to talk to. He allowed my nephew to workout with some boys his age, which was more engaging for him than I think the 1-on-1’s can be at times. My nephew really enjoyed himself, and he felt like he learned some new things. Thanks Coach Bill. Keep up the good work!

Coach Bill is a great instructor. He taught my son fundamental moves to help with his body control and explosiveness to the basket. My son is able to be more efficient player with Bill’s techniques. He is encouraging and very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone.

Great analysis of my daughter and with just some minor adjustments she is improving. He knows his stuff. Highly recommend. Signing her up for more for sure....and probably my younger daughter too!

My son loved working with Coach Bill. Coach Bill helped my son with important skills as well as helped him build the confidence when playing games. We would definitely recommend coach Bill.

Bill is a great coach and mentor. My son had several sessions with him. He pinpoints exactly what is needed to improve his all around game then focuses his training based on that. My son loves working with and is greatly improving.

Man, I appreciate you and your words more than you will ever know. Thank you for being so awesome. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Life kicks you, stuff happens. Doesn't matter, love and success is dictated by what's in your heart. You have a big heart.
Our daughter was not sure whether she wanted to play basketball and she had no experience. We encouraged her to try with the support of Coach Flitter. After 3 years of playing basketball with Coach Flitter, it is now one of our daughter's favorite sports thanks to the encouraging impact Coach Flitter had on our daughter. He coaches with a unique balance of teaching skills with the proper focus on our child’s growth within the game. Our daughter and our family enjoyed our experience with Coach Flitter. I trust him and would recommend him highly.
At such a critical point in my son’s life Coach Flitter was a positive and inspiring role model. He has the ability to delicately balance being a demanding coach with positive and motivating messaging. Coach Flitter also emphasized academics and life off the court. In fact, he rewarded being a good citizen as much as he rewarded being a strong basketball player.
Bill Flitter is a man of well-intention, solid leadership, and genuine spirit. Bill’s capacity to lead by example, instruct with sincerity, and inspire by action revealed a coach that recognizes that each athlete has the potential to accomplish great things in life, school, career, and beyond. Bill’s clear communication style, integrity of heart, and ability to set high expectations reflects tremendous planning toward a program of excellence that is grounded in mission/vision. To know that your son has grown in ways well beyond the basketball court reveals to me the greatest aspect of sport -- the growth of the whole child toward being a supportive teammate, and becoming a responsible citizen and productive member of society.
Coach Flitter focuses on some of the most critical yet often overlooked aspects of youth basketball – integrity, fair play, sportsmanship and positive attitude. I had the opportunity to watch Bill first hand not only foster the importance of teamwork, but inspire the players to give it their all and bring their play to the next level!
Bill is patient, committed, consistent, and inspires student athletes to grow and develop as selfless teammates. The effect of his style on my boys have been extraordinary as they have developed confidence, poise and concern for others.
