More About Coach Bethany
I have 7 years of experience coaching and training athletes in youth and high school sports from softball to basketball to cheer and gymnastics. I have worked at sport-specific training facilities (TreTop Training in Milledgeville, GA; Elite Heat in Sandersville, GA) and as an assistant coach for high school basketball and middle school softball. I have a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Coaching and Athletic Performance.
While I did not compete at the collegiate or professional level, I took 4 years of high school weight training and am still involved in regular strength training today. I have taken multiple courses in strength and conditioning between my Bachelor's degree and current Master's coursework along with courses in sport nutrition, sport psychology, and injury prevention and rehabilitation.
In addition, I have experience in sport film, editing, and creating highlight videos for websites such as Hudl and MaxPreps. I am also active on X with a following of many football coaches. In other words, I can help with the recruiting process if you are interested in playing any sport at the next level!
My sessions will be completely dependent on the goals of the athlete. Preferably, the athlete will book more than one session so the first session I would do a baseline fitness assessment and discuss the goals of the athlete. Based on the assessment and the information gathered, I could create a plan for the following sessions.
