More About Coach Coach B

Started at the Boys and Girls Club as a junior in High School 1999 took a 13-15 group of girls that never played basketball ever. 6-9 record and we lost in the semi finals.

Started my coaching in the Police Athletic League High school league ages 13-18 2005. Coach my "Blue Devils" to back to back championships, which had never been done because we have random drafts.

In 2006 the P.A.L. Panthers AAU travel basketball. In my first year as head coach of the Delaware PAL Panthers was recognized to be invited to Division 1 Nationals. No team in Delaware was invited, played and had success at D1 nationals in over 7 years. For the next 3 years we continually got better are repeated our success as an organization.

2010-2011 Season as a Lead Basketball Assistant coach for Salem Community College, Salem Oaks. Went 19-11 and lost in the Semi Finals of the NJCAA tournament. Had 6 of the 8 players that year get signed to D2-D1 programs, changed the overall training and basketball culture at Salem.

2011-2013 Returned back to the Delaware Pal Panthers where we continued our success, Finished 2nd in the country in the Silver bracket. Only team from Delaware to ever complete that feat, 1 win away from being on ESPN 2.

2013-Present Head Coach of the CBK Defenders and Director of Player Development for IAFF AAU organization. 8 teams starting from the age of 9-16 years old. 1st year organization went 12-19 winning 1 championship in Lancaster, PA as a coach but the highlight was coaching at the Mass Mutual in Massachusetts 2 of my 8 players was recognized and have visits to D1 programs.

Proper Stretching: Butterflies, 6 inches, butt kicks, High Knees, just to get the body warm so we decreases the % of injury. Typically we will work on ball handling to get the blood flowing a little and get a feel of the ball. Mix Conditioning, shooting and actual games reps in together to improve skills, hand eye, body control, foot work and build better basketball habits.
