I usually let the athlete show me what he or she knows and then I comment upon it. I always start with basics and make sure that the athlete has a solid foundation to build upon. If the foundation needs work that is where we begin. It doesn't matter if they are a black belt or a white belt-everyone who trains with me must have a good solid basic foundation whether it is weapons or forms(kata) to start with. We progress form there depending on the athletes skills, work ethic, and goals.

Chip Townsend (Testimonial)
On Wednesday, August 4, 2010, Becca Ross presented a two hour seminar (and taught Private Lessons) at Team Chip Tae Kwon Do Centers in Abilene, TX. Becca is not only a phenomenal martial artist, with a proven competition-success record, she is an outstanding instructor. She was able to guide a large group of very excited students (ranging in rank from white to 4th Degree Black, ages 9 – 45), at a level that did not overwhelm them, but challenged and inspired them. Her seminar covered a lot of new material, and everyone learned a ton, while having a great time. Moreover, we were impressed with Becca’s willingness to lead by example, and not just talk or walk the participants through the movements. She made the skills look effortless. She was confident and patient. With each Private Lesson she taught, she listened to what the student wanted to work on, and quickly found their strengths, and incorporated those strengths into dynamic Creative, Extreme, and Weapons forms. Furthermore, she didn’t teach the same forms over and over. Every student was made to feel special, and unique. We highly recommend Becca Ross as a guest instructor for any martial arts school, regardless of style. Your star struck students will find her approachable, respectful, friendly, and professional. We have had nothing but very positive feedback, and look forward to working with her again in the future. Sincerely, Chip Townsend Master Instructor / Owner Glyn Ann Townsend Instructor / Owner
Rob Hartman (Testimonial)
I have a martial arts school in Coral Springs, Florida as well as Tournament Director for my own event WorldWide Martial Arts Festival in Orlando, Florida. I am also the Director for the past five years of the Disney Martial Arts Festival at Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim California. I have known Becca Ross for over seven years and have had the privilege to work close with her on all three projects. Recently I appointed Becca to coordinate a new program I developed called Trix Kix. I believe I made a great choice in that appointment. I made that decision based on how I have seen Becca’s compassion, honesty, and sincerity as she interacted with her students, parents and fellow competitors. Her humility along with her dedication to make people better comes through not only in her motivational speeches, but her actions. She demands when necessary and praises when not only deserved, but as she sees the students need. I have found over the years; that is a special trait in a true leader. I have students in my school that are inspired by Becca’s talents as well as her teaching skills. I can speak personally that the creativity that Becca is so willing to share and how she shares that knowledge results in wins in the competition world. It is wonderful to see a martial artist like Becca do so well as a result of her years of training and so willing to share with others. She is what we call a “Contributor” and I am pleased to be part of her career.
