More About Coach Austin
High energy, athletic coach with 5+ years of experience coaching group and individual sessions. While playing overseas I was responsible for running youth training camps for the teams I played for. I have coached kids in France, Norway and Slovakia and was responsible for running the program for grades 9th-12th. I have experience motivating clients, mentoring kids and helping athletes reach their goal while using my experience playing basketball at a high level.
I am a professional basketball player that played in the top leagues for: France, Argentina, Norway, Austria and Slovakia. I attended Drexel University where I competed as a Division 1 basketball player from 2014 to 2018. I served as Team Captain in 2017 and 2018. During my collegiate career I led the CAA Conference in blocks per game and in 2018 I was ranked #8 in blocks for the NCAA Division 1 Conference. In 2018, I also received CAA All Defensive Team which is an accolade given to outstanding players for their defensive performance. While playing overseas I competed with several top athletes in the foreign league as well as former players for the NBA.
I have several tier levels of training that cater to the needs of each of my clients and is aimed at player development. At each level my clients see their game playing skills evolve from our very first session to our last. My goal is to help each player get better not only with physical skills, but mentally as well. They will learn what it takes to be a D1 athlete and a top professional athlete. My clients can expect warm-ups, proper stretching, dribbling technique, basic inside/outside scoring, passing, reading and reacting to different scenarios and much more that is require to play at a high level. Each session level is accompanied with personalized drills and regimes provided to each athlete to be completed at home and tailored workouts for each athlete's game.

Coach Austin is an AMAZING mentor!!! Within 2 lessons our 11 year old daughter was already a completely different player, with a new found sense of confidence. As a beginner she needed to learn the fundamentals, and continues to require the time, patience, understanding, and positive/encouraging attitude that we have only found in Coach Austin!
