My clients have gone from debilitating daily pain to a life free from chronic pain or limited movement. The key is a correct approach, consistent practice and a balance between strengthening and mobility with emphasis on your functional needs.

My in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and the principles of bio-mechanics make my yoga programs a true healing experience. Poses are modified using props to make then attainable and productive for everyone. This includes therapeutic variations of the poses for those seeking pain relief, increased range of motion, etc. Every year I add to my education so that I can better serve my clients and broaden the number of dis-eases I can help my clients manage so they can get their active lifestyle back!

First session is a meet and greet to discuss what your goals are for your yoga practice and any ailments/injuries or limitations that need to be addressed. Once we get to know each other better, I will organize yoga sequences for you specifically so that you get the most out of our sessions. I will provide all the props we will need to modify your poses to support you and bring them to each of our sessions. Sessions often run from 1-2 days per week at 60 min. Results are seen in the first month of consistent practice.

Coach Ashely was outstanding in every way. I would definitely recommend her to anyone wishing to use a Yoga Coach.
Definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

Ashley is an amazing instructor! She is very thoughtful, attentive, and patient. She listened to my needs and tailored them to our session. This is really my first time doing yoga and she was very encouraging and explained things very well. I am super excited to learn more from her!

It’s been great learning to just BE where I am while my body strengthens. I love how Ashley creates a whole series of poses specifically helping my pain by correcting alignment and doing this yoga with me - if I had to describe it it’s like therapeutic/physical therapy yoga. Modified Movement is a miracle worker - I've gone from a pain level of 10 in my right foot to a 5 in the last 4 sessions of this focus - $$ well spent imo. I ❤️ how I feel after my sessions - twice a week - do you have chronic pain? Sick of feeling “off”? Ashley is amazing!
I was blown away by the different approach Ashley has to yoga. You can truly tell this is not just a job for her. The passion she has to help people improve their health and wellness through yoga is nothing I have ever seen. I truly do mean that. She cares, is patient and LISTENS and adapts the poses to best meet your needs. The best part is she comes to you! If you are not comfortable in a group setting and want more one on one attention then definitely give her a call. She has also started doing monthly yoga workshops so if you are more comfortable in a group setting then definitely check that out instead. You will not be disappointed either way!
I've worked out with a personal trainer and a yoga instructor over a period of 10 years but Ash is absolutely the best. She is focused on improving my strength and posture as opposed to simply executing the positions. I didn't realize how important this could be. Yoga isn't just yoga. The critical part is getting to a correct position or pose in order to realize the full benefit. Ash's meticulous instruction on the way your body should be placed in every pose is the key to the benefits of yoga work. Small changes in form make a big difference in results. I started with Ash about two years ago with in-the-home sessions about 3 times per week. The benefits to my core strength, posture and energy level are remarkable.
Ashley is an excellent instructor! Her focus on alignment, timing, posture, and breathing has helped take my practice to a new level. She also has a great personality and always very focused on the student. She makes the entire introductory and advanced learning process a blast! And is truly a gifted, talented, class A teacher. We are very lucky to have her here in the valley. Call her now!
I had been going to yoga classes for many years and tried to keep up with the pace and the techniques, but I kept falling behind and getting injured. It would take me too long to get into the poses, then with only partially correct alignment, I couldn't hold the poses but for a second or two, and I kept suffering back injuries. I was frustrated and clearly not getting the benefit I expected. I reached out to Ashley and it has been a completely different experience. She is patient, uses props for support and balance assistance, and she has taught me the correct positions and what I should be feeling in order to self-monitor my alignment. She is very hands on and an excellent communicator, so I am learning so many aspects of this that I could never grasp before. She has built on this step by step, and I can hold these poses for 3-4 minutes, so I am deriving the benefit and stretching that this is all about. Moreover, I am more flexible, no injuries, and I am making progress. Now I don't have all that morning back pain, I have returned to golf, and this is all after just 2 months with her. I feel we are still at the beginning, but with this kind of improvement already, I am excited and encouraged for what other strides I can gain. I recommend her highly and I cannot stress enough that just attending classes and going through the process isn't necessarily beneficial. It clearly wasn't for me. Doing it correctly, with proper alignment so you really get the needed stretching and flexibility is the essence of this. I urge anyone to contact Ashley, and I know you won't be disappointed.
I had a few personal sessions with Ashley. She was very caring regarding my person needs and desires related to my yoga instruction. Her knowledge and expertise of yoga was impressive. I felt wonerdul after my first session. I would highly recommend her as an instructor. She is not one of your run-of-the-mill yoga instructors you find in the gym!!!
Ashley is a very professional and experienced Yoga teacher. Not only does her continuous training and education add to her prestige, she is attentive, caring and innovative in her approach to teaching. Ashley uses creativity and specialized knowledge of Yoga props and sequencing to turn her lessons into a valuable learning experience. I would recommend Ashley and Bends N'Blends to anyone wishing to begin or deepen a Yoga practice!
Ashley put me in the right postures I needed to target my shoulder pain and help with my mobility (or lack of it). Anyone who does CF needs to dedicate some time for mobility work like yoga unless you would rather spend thousands of dollars going to physical therapy down the road. Trust me, I've been there, done that. Moreover it will help your form incredibly lifting weights and make you a better Crossfitter.
