More About Coach Ashlee
I have assisted athletes in developing their speed, strength, and agility. I currently assist students during their off-season training at varying locations. I have an associate's degree in Nutritional Science and am an ISSA-certified personal trainer. I also ran track and have trained under highly professional coaches for over 8 yrs, so I have attained a lot of knowledge sharing professional qualifications and experience.
I competed in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and long jump as a D1 track and field athlete at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I competed in the 2007 & 2008 AAU Junior Olympics for the 4x400. I also competed in the 2009 State Championship in the 4x100.
A normal session would begin with a warm-up, followed by plyos, both of which are tailored to the day's goals (linear speed, COD, etc.). Then we go on to drills to aid with mechanics and technique, followed by putting those drills into action with reactive drills or some form of game to test the athlete and mimic game-like pace and conditions.
