Wrestling Coach & Athlete Development

I have been coaching wrestling since high school, gaining extensive experience through both high school and collegiate wrestling environments. I have coached at the college level, including experience with Lassen Community College and Bacone College, as well as through Wynwood Wrestling, a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth development.

My coaching approach is hands-on and athlete-focused. I actively wrestle and drill with athletes to improve their technique, confidence, conditioning, and ability to compete at an elite level.

I focus on developing more than just wrestlers—I build discipline, hard work, accountability, confidence, and a strong work ethic. My goal is to help every athlete reach their full potential on and off the mat.

Training Philosophy & Session Structure

Each training session is tailored to the athlete’s age, experience, and athletic level. We focus on mastering the fundamentals through repetition, drilling, and proper technique until the skills become natural and effective.

Training also includes advanced techniques that can be applied across different skill levels and age groups. My one-on-one coaching is hands-on—I wrestle live with the athlete to identify small technical mistakes, correct bad habits, and make the adjustments needed to improve their overall performance.

My goal is to develop complete wrestlers by improving technique, discipline, strength, confidence, conditioning, and wrestling IQ, helping each athlete reach their full potential and build the foundation to become a champion.
