More About Coach Armin

I hold a National D Coaching License, and have been playing the game for 25+ years.

I have spent time coaching club teams, with 14 - 18 players on the roster, but I found it difficult to teach young players individually about technique, creativity, and flair in the game.

I decided to stop coaching club soccer, and invest my time into small groups, and individual players, who can greatly benefit from this type of training.

I found that Coaching Small Groups, and Individual Players, is much more efficient in developing technique, skills, and building a complete young soccer player.

For the past 7 years I have Coached Small Groups, and Individual Players. I have helped players develop technically, and mentally, by building confidence to play the soccer for fun.

Started playing soccer at the age 7 for FK Zeljeznicar in Bosnia (Europe).

Played for Bosnian National team U14.

Spent time in Premier Development League in USA, playing for Ogden Outlaws.

Had trials with Italian teams Catania, and Torino.

Currently Playing, and Coaching Soccer Actively.

Soccer is my passion, and I enjoy every minute of it, playing or coaching young players.

My number one goal is having players leave my training sessions with an experience of well organized youth training session. Players work hard, and are constantly encouraged to work hard through fun, and positive outlook on the game.

I start my training sessions with juggling the soccer ball for 10 - 15 min. Juggling helps build a relationship with the ball, and familiarity with the surface of the ball. During the juggling time, I get involved to give the player a juggling partner, and we keep the ball up, passing it to each other. I also set up a tennis soccer net so the players get familiar with different bounces, while playing a fun game like tennis soccer.

Following juggling, and tennis soccer, Players spend time working on their skills with the ball, and proper technique. They go through different ball control exercises to get 500+ touches on the ball. Players will touch the ball with different parts of both feet, getting familiar with the soccer ball, and building coordination on the ball.

Following the exercises with the ball, players will take 2 minutes to express themselves with the soccer ball, while I encourage them to be creative and try different dribbles and tricks.

My third part of training is agility and speed, mixed with more ball control, shooting, passing, dribbling etc...This part of the session focuses on the players running technique, and building agility and speed. Soccer ball is included to dribble through cones, shoot, pass, or whatever the plan for the drill is.

I use Agility Ladders, Hurdles, Agility Poles, Multiple Soccer Balls, Portable Goals, and other equipment during the training session.

I finish my sessions with a fun game.
Players try to score on me by shooting repeatedly until they score, or miss the goal.
Every time I save the ball, players are able to shoot again. This method allows players to take many shots, and earn the bragging rights for scoring on me.

I believe in mixing fitness with ball control, and letting players take many shots, and passes during my sessions. Players are encouraged to get creative, and build their own style of play.

Many players learn bad habits early in life, such is running improperly. I teach positive habits that will follow them throughout their playing career.

I'm a fun coach, who is involved with the players throughout practice. I encourage them to work hard, and develop their skills to their full potential, while building passion for this game.

Feel free to message me with any questions.

Great with my 11 year old. Training sessions are challenging but fun. Great personality.

Coach Armin is a great coach.

Great session. Armin taught my son several things that will help him be a better player. Both general soccer skills as well as things specific to his position.

Coach Armin is a terrific and very motivational coach for our 8 and 10 year olds. He keeps the kids very engaged and provides helpful drills for them to improve their ball skills. We love Coach Armin!

My son is ten years old and we have had three sessions with Armin. My son says he is a really nice coach, he is not too strict but makes you work hard and you learn a lot. He is really skilled with the ball and knows how to teach kids really well. My son really looks forward to going to every session with Armin and he would highly recommend him. From a parent perspective, I love that he is there all set up and ready to go when we arrive and uses a very nice park with a lot of space to work. He is also really responsive and well organized and it has been easy to coordinate with him. We highly recommend him and look forward to continuing to work with him.

Coach Armin is very quick to respond when you have questions. He also had time available quickly. He was very personable and my 14 year old daughter was comfortable working with him. He is able to combine learning and usable technique with fun. He also gives great advise on what needs work along with praise for things he felt she excelled at. Many coaches today focus so much on what a player does wrong that a kid can leave a practice or game feeling disheartened. This is not the case with Coach Armin.

I can't say enough good things about coach Armin. He was fun to work with but pushed my son hard enough to help him improve. He. Was encouraging and I loved what he taught him and how he pushed him to work hard and practice. My son was asking when he gets to do it again after every session.

My daughter and I have been very happy with the Armin's training and coaching. He has a very warm style, that is encouraging and motivating, but also definitely pushes the athlete to give their all. My daughter has loved her sessions... coming out exhausted but also confident and happy with her progress. Armin's training is personalized and with my daughter, has been fast-paced with emphasis on ball control, building a relationship with the ball, being creative with the ball, and enjoying playing soccer!

Personalized to the individual. Armin makes soccer training fun but challenging. Creative style of coaching --variety of skills and drill layouts to keep my girls thinking and improving. My girls are quite happy with his training. It has helped my girls feel more confident in their team playing.
Armin has been great to work with my daughter. Her skills and footwork have improved in a short time, and she has been able to apply these beneficial abilities during her games. He works her hard, but is encouraging at the same time. Try it out!
Armin has been a blessing to our team. He has been instrumental in bringing the level of our team up. Not only does he work on conditioning our players, he also adds a lot in individual skills and team play skills. I highly recommend him.
3 months ago I decided that I wanted to get extra training for my soccer teams. I got in contact with Coach Armin and it has been the best experience we have ever had! Between the 2 teams, I have 20 kids that all took his training for 10 weeks, 90 minute session per week. The level of improvement is unbelievable, just for 1 (of many) examples, they all started out juggling 3,4, or 5 times each. Now they are all consistently getting minimum of 20. This just goes to show that ball control has come a LONG way. We will be continuing training sessions through the winter and into spring with Coach Armin and I am extremely excited to see where these kids get in that time frame. Thank you Coach Armin!!!!!!!
Armin was great with my 2 boys. He truly loves soccer and teaching young players to play smarter and better. My boys had a little trouble with ball control and fitness. Armin was great at explaining things and using them in practice to prove his point.
