More About Coach Anthony
I was a youth coach in college, teaching and educating youth on the importance of fitness, exercise and nutrition. I work with kids a lot so making the work outs fun, educational, and stress free is very important. I'm currently a personal trainer, where I help clients lose weight, increase muscle tone and also educate them on nutrition. I'm a speed specialist; working on explosion, fast twitch, and strength for track & field athletes and football players. I also work crossfit and do in home visits.
My training is one of a kind. I know what hard work can get you and treating your body the right way is important as well. I drive for success and motivate athletes to be great. I was blessed to have a brother who plays for the 49ers and have had the opportunity to train my brother, tight end Delanie Walker and tight end Vernon Davis every off season. Making the work outs count and fun is important for all ages but we will work hard! And we will get results!
I have a very strong sports background in football and track & field. I had the opportunity to run in the Junior Olympics in 2004 for the 400 meters. I played both sports in high school and in Junior College, where I was a state champion in track & field. I received an academic scholarship to Western Kentucky University for track & field. Following my collegiate career, I ran pro track in 2008-09 for the So Cal Cheetahs International; I ran in the Osaka, Japan Grand Prix in 2008.
First we will discuss what you want to work on and goals that you want to achieve, each season will be different and customized to fit you and what you want to work on. We will start with stretching and agilities to get the body warm and loose, then we will proceed with the work out which we will work on speed, starts, fast twitch, and endurance. Work outs will be adjusted to how the athlete body responds and how the athlete feels, weight training and core/ab training will be some of the sessions. Meaning we will strictly be working on strength and core/abs the whole training session, having strength and a strong core is very important for track and field athlete's.

My son was looking for a coach for both football and track sprints (400m, 200m, 100m, relays, etc.) and so we scheduled a lesson with Coach Anthony.
We just completed the first lesson with Coach Anthony - this session was receiver-specific.
Anthony's love to coach and instruct is apparent and his enthusiasm and energy level in working right along-side with my son was very effective.
Being that my son is interested in learning how to play the receiver position, Coach Anthony broke it down and provided instruction on many of the needed skills and techniques of being an effective receiver.
