Absolutely great coach. He definitely tries to establish a great foundation in you as well as teaching you how to truly be mentally tough. In the beginning, he does try to gauge what your goals are and what you are capable of in the beginning. He is wonderful at answering questions and working on any bad habits you may have picked up if you had a little boxing experience beforehand. I highly recommend that you take whatever you learn from his lessons and and put some outside work on it before you move on to the next lesson, almost like homework. This will help you progress much further as well as allow him to make the most out of your lessons.
Long story short: There are no easy ways up with this coach, take everything you learned or think you learned and throw it out! He will establish a foundation for you from the ground up brick by brick!
