More About Coach Anthony
I started coaching basketball camps back in 2016 when I was in college. Then in 2021 I started coaching a U12 boys rec team followed by being an Assistant Coach for Boys Junior Varsity. In 2022, I coached a U10 and U12 girls rec teams. Also in 2022 I became the Head Coach of a Boy Junior Varsity as well as an assistant coach for the Boys Varsity team and have been with them for the past two years and will continue to a third year.
I played high school basketball here at MCPS, winning individual awards. As well as AAU in the dmv earning a D3 offered but ultimately deciding to pursing my education.
Each session is one hour, regardless of skill skill level we will always start out with a good dynamic warm up. The skill work will depend on the athletes experience, if they are younger/beginner we will really focus on developing their fundamentals, ball handling, shooting, dribbling and passing. If they are a bit more advanced then we can do drills that are on the move and more game like drills that will challenge them.
