More About Coach Anik
have coaching experience at both the NEPSAC and JUCO levels, serving as an assistant coach and leading player development at each program. As a coach, I have helped develop an EIL Player of the Year and a USCAA Second Team All-American.
As a trainer, I have worked with athletes across NCAA Divisions I–III, prep and high school basketball, and the professional level. My experience allows me to work with players at every stage of their development while tailoring training to their individual goals, skill level, and style of play.
As a high school player I led my AAU programs in AST : TO ratio. Was able to go to college for both basketball and football where I elected to play football at the DIII level. Nowadays participate in high level private basketball runs.
Clients can expect a purposeful, game-focused training environment. Each session begins with a dynamic warm-up and a quick conversation about the athlete’s goals and the focus for that day.
From there, we use a three-step development process designed to turn skill work into game-ready results:
1. Learn It – Break down a specific skill from a technical standpoint, emphasizing footwork, timing, reads, and proper execution.
2. Build It – Increase the pace and intensity while introducing guided or limited defense to help athletes apply the skill under pressure.
3. Play It – Progress to full-speed, live defense, creating realistic situations where athletes must make reads, react, and execute naturally.
Our primary areas of development include pace, finishing, ball handling, creativity, and basketball IQ, with training tailored to each athlete’s individual needs and goals.
Athletes can also participate in film breakdown sessions to improve decision-making, recognize tendencies, and better understand how their skills translate to live game situations.
