The Session depends on the goals of the client. The main types of clients I serve are competitive athletes, those interested in weight loss, and clients focusing on functional movement

- Competitive Athletes: Focus on strength, cardio, explosiveness, and sport specific movement patterns
- Weight Loss: Focus on Cardio and keeping the Heart Rate elevate through High Intensity Interval Resistance Training
- Functional Movement (Often Elderly and those recovering from Injury): Functional strength and movement patterns that simulate daily activity

No matter what the goals are, every clients will progress through several phases

First Phase: Emphasis on Stability, Balance, Endurance and Cardio. Learn to move the right way and be able to last through a workout
Second Phase: Once proper movement patterns have been established and endurance has been built, the emphasis turns to building functional strength. We can add Plyometrics and Agility drills depending on the goals of the client
Third Phase: Focus on athleticism, increasing muscle size, or maintaining strength and endurance depending on the client's goals

Each workout will contain Warmup, Cardio, Resistance Training, Cool Down, plus (Plyometrics and Agility Drills for athletes)

- Warmup: Light Cardio followed by active flexibility

- Cardio: Sprinting, Jogging, Hills, Stairs. Depending on client goals

- Resistance Training:
Circuit Training (for endurance and weight loss clients)
Superset system (for strength and stability/or strength and power)
High Weight/Low Reps (for body building)

- Plyometrics: (Optional, usually for athletes). Learn the proper landing technique to avoid injuries!
Box Jumps
Quick Jumps
Horizontal and Vertical Jumping

- Speed, Agility, Quickness: Cone and Ladder Drills (Optional, usually for athletes)

- Cool Down: Light Cardio followed and corrective flexibility and foam rolling if necessary

My son has had 2 sessions thus far with Coach Andy and is already seeing positive changes in his game. I was looking for a coach to help him improve his overall presence and skills on the court. He is gaining confidence in his game and has a good time while working with Coach Andy. They work on all aspects of the game from the importance of warming up, conditioning and stretching, to lay ups, defense and everything else in between.
