More About Coach Andy
I am a 33 yr old local running enthusiast that follows intensely on the international running scene and is always looking for new methods of training and running and overall being healthy. I obtained my USATF Level 1 Coach certificate and am excited to coach athletes from a young age up through adulthood. I feel my true passion is running and everything involved in it. I could talk for days on topics ranging from stretching, nutrition, weight training, various training runs, race tactics and just in general about favorite runners past present and future.
Played sports my whole life, soccer, basketball, baseball. Only seriously started running in 2010 after cancer diagnosis. Something clicked in me after that incident and have dedicated my life to bettering myself and my running ability. Currently have a new unofficial pb of 1:33 in the half marathon and recently a new pb of 1:06.48 in 15k in 2019 and 20:07 5k in 2019 and 41:21 in the 10k.
Will focus on building a base first and assessing current fitness level and build from there. Will help client get to goal desired safely and effectively and with a feeling of pure joy for putting in the hard work and achieving their goal.
