I originally played at Hamilton prior to transferring to Perry and Greenway. I worked with local QB guru Mike Giovando from 2008-2014.
My senior season I was all region, 2009 at Greenway High School, where I played under Mike Brown. After high school, I accepted a scholarship to Pima CC and played for Pat Nugent in 2010 and 2011, suffering a back injury in my 3rd game of my sophomore season. I then accepted a scholarship to Division II, Colorado Mesa University. After CMU, I played professionally for five seasons in Europe.

I start with an intro session. I want to learn how the athlete naturally/currently throws the ball. I also want to get to know them and learn how to coach them effectively. Some athletes require hard, frequent repetition, and some athletes only require subtle guidance.
After learning what the QB does well, I compliment that. I then move to ask them questions about why they do things the way they currently do. This tells me their basic knowledge level about how to throw the ball.
Assuming it's all near the middle, I ask them to show me their grip and how they release the ball.
Next, I evaluate their feet to ensure their first step is correct and educate them on "midline" (invisible middle line behind the center that a QB should always stay on to start).
I then check for overstriding while throwing and release point.
Once the above is evaluated, I choose a point of emphasis for the day and spend 30 minutes on said drills. After that I ask the QB what they would like to work on. Finally, I have them implement what we worked on and have them throw to me in a window.
You always have to end a throwing session with 5-10 fades.
