More About Coach Alana

I have extensive experience coach athletes across various age groups and levels spanning for 7 years old to their early 20’s. I have coached many years in high school and consistently for the past 10+ years for a summer team. My approach to coaching is establishing strong fundamental for rapid skill development.

Was a Division I recruit for many universities going in to college and chose to attend Hofstra University. Played in pro leagues through NYC. Seeing the athletes that I have coached go into college and be successful on and off the court are the highest honors I’ve earned.

Start with a dynamic warmup focusing on stretching the muscles to prevent injuries. Begin our drills with the fundamentals ensuring correct form, footwork and posture. These drills include, layups, shooting, dribbling and defense. All drill will be challenging and add to larger picture of being able to dominate on the court.
