I have experience in working with the throwing events, specifically shot-put, discus, weight throw, and hammer. I have coached all age groups. I do not have any industry certifications.

I competed as a NCAA Division 1 athlete at Illinois state University. I am also a NCAA ALL-AMERICAN in the throw. I placed 6th in the weight throw at NCAA D1 nationals in 2014 with a throw of 71' 6 inches. I am the 2014 MVC conference champion in the hammer throw and weight throw with a hammer distance of 210 feet. I threw the college 16# shot-put 55 feet even. Finished 11th at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships (June 6) in the hammer with a personal-best mark of 208-08, earning second-team All-America honors ... threw a 204-03 in the hammer at the NCAA West Region Preliminary Round (May 24) to advance to the championships ... took fourth in the hammer at the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 11) In 2012,threw a personal-best mark of 69-04.00 in the weight throw at the NCAA Qualifier (March 2) to qualify for the NCAA Championships, the second-furthest in Illinois State University history ... took first at the Big Meet (Feb. 10) in the weight throw with a mark of 66-02.25. In high school, At Grayson High School: Earned all-American honors in the weight and hammer throws ... finished fourth in the Junior Olympics ... recorded a career-best throw of 161-11 in the discus and 55-4 in the shot put ... tossed a personal-best throw of 76-1 in the weight throw and 199-01 in the hammer throw ... finished fourth in the weight throw at the NSIC.

In a typical session, a client can expect to work the basics of throwing. A client can also expect to work on general form, technique, and foot speed.
