More About Coach Adam
I am currently coaching linebackers at Central Arkansas. Before I came to Conway, I coached outside linebackers at Oklahoma Baptist and safeties before that at Southwestern Oklahoma State. In 2022, I spent one season at Oklahoma State working with linebackers.
Competed at the Division 1 FBS level as a linebacker. Off the field, I received academic All-Big 12 honors, the Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Award. I was the first football player in 5 years to receive the Big 12's Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award. Part of my services include providing guidance for student-athletes in balancing school and football to set themselves up for success after football.
We start with a warmup that I used every day while playing. The first session, we go through a skills analysis at that player’s position using basic drills. When we do drills, I focus on making sure there is learning for the athlete rather than going fast. I always ask the athlete what he wants to work on, then we move on to things that I have written down from previous sessions to improve upon.
