More About Coach Adam
I have experience coaching and training athletes from elementary school students up to professional athletes. I have been a private strength coach for 3 years and a collegiate strength coach for 7 years. I have worked at two private facilities in Virginia and South Carolina, as well as, in the collegiate setting as the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Sacramento State University, Towson University, and Bridgewater College. I have been an Assistant Strength Coach at the collegiate level at The Ohio State University Football Program, College of Charleston, Virginia Tech, Mt. Olive College, and Winston-Salem State University. I work with any age group and have experience guiding all groups of athletes through speed, strength, agility, and conditioning programs. I am certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and as a Certified Personal Trainer.
I have participated at the collegiate level in football and rugby, as well as, at a professional level in rugby union. I have played in two national championships at the collegiate level and several tournament finals for rugby. I was honored with Most Valuable Player of the Mountain Cup as a member of Virginia Tech Rugby.
Clients can expect results from every session spent with me, along with, scientific based training that can incorporate all aspects of training into a session without compromising gains. I focus on what each specific athlete lacks in each session and the imbalances in the body. I will tailor a program to remedy all deficiencies in each client to improve their general athleticism. A typical training day would involve a warm up of 5 to 10 minutes followed by the scheduled session. that session could be weight training as the focus or speed, agility, and conditioning as the focus, but no matter which is the majority of our day it will contain all aspects of becoming a complete athlete.
