More About Coach Adam

I've been lifting for over 10 years, competing in powerlifting for the last 4 and placed in every meet I've competed in. I use principles for strength and conditioning that have been in use for over 50 years that deliver consistent results.

Every client I've worked with has increased their strength, and my latest client placed 3rd in his first ever powerlifting meet.

* 1st Place - 2015 TPS/RPS Boston Open, 198 (90kg) Raw Classic Open Division
* 2nd Place - 2014 TPS/RPS Boston Open, 198 (90kg) Raw Classic Open Division
* 3rd Place - 2012 USAPL MIT Open, 181 (82 kg) Raw Classic Open Division

We start with dynamic warm-ups to prevent injury and increase flexibility/mobility.

Next, if you're unfamiliar with the exercise, we introduce the proper movement patterns and work on skill development to perform the exercise correctly.

Finally, we develop your strength and conditioning based on a finely-tuned program to increase your numbers and up your fitness.

Client Reviews

I'm really glad I booked my sessions with Adam because he has a wealth of knowledge in weightlifting / strength training. My goal is to increase strength while reducing injury risk. Adam knows proper form when lifting and he's a great communicator of the details and techniques of each lift. I look forward to more sessions with him.

Adam is everything you could want in a coach: accomplished in his field, extremely knowledgeable, humble and patient. I chose him to teach me weightlifting with proper form, and could not have asked for more. Not only did he go through painstaking detail to describe the proper form and offer helpful cues/reminders to consider while lifting, but he also gave thoughtful explanations of the science behind each movement and answered all of my questions.
I plan to use Adam regularly going forward and would recommend him to anyone interested in getting in shape.

Very knowledgable and helpful. He gave me practical, science-based advice for a more healthful eating plan for athletic performance.

Coach Adam was great! He listened to my goals and gave me specific advice to help me achieve them. He emphasized injury prevention and good form, while still being encouraging. Unlike every other coach I've worked with, he did not immediately recommend that I schedule more sessions with him! This gave me confidence that he was really going to give me advice that would help me reach my personal goals, as opposed to giving me any kind of advice as long as I kept working with him in paid sessions. Instead he gave me a program to work at on my own for a while, and encouraged me to call him when I had hit my limits on my own, to schedule another session at that, more appropriate point. I'll definitely call Coach Adam again in the future!

Adam was welcoming, professional and very knowledgeable. He provided simple advice that made a world of difference in my technique and ability. Would absolutely recommend!

Adam was an excellent coach. He showed up on time, spent the whole session working to understand what was wrong, and then came up with a personal plan aimed at improving my issue. Throughout the whole session he was articulate, patient, and observant. I look forward to working with him again.

After recovering from an ACL surgery, I had been struggling with relearning proper technique in the back squat. I had spent months loading/deloading and tweaking my technique with no luck. In our first session, Adam was able to quickly identify my imbalances and teach me both proper form and a variety of useful stretches and exercises. I would highly recommend him to others!

I couldn't do squats before - I used my quads and had problems with my knees and back. After Adam showed me proper technique, I felt it in my hamstrings and glutes for the first time. I was just at the gym and was complimented on my squats!
Adam was very methodical and clear in his explanation of proper squat form. I'd hurt my back from squatting with poor form before, but his tutorial showed me what I did wrong and how I can squat safely in the future.
