More About Coach Aaron
I have 3+ years experience coaching boys basketball, ranging from 8th graders to high school seniors. Every summer from 2007-2011, I was a head counselor in the CLU Lu Dog Basketball Camp. In 2012, I coached for the club team Impact Basketball out of Santa Clarita. In 2013, I was the assistant coach for the Boys JV Basketball Team at Notre Dame High School.
Back-to-back recipient of NDHS Varsity Boys Basketball Most Improved Player in '05-'06, '06-'07. 2nd team All Mission League '06-'07. Played Division III basketball at California Lutheran University. All Conference '10-'11.
Expect to work AND think as hard as you can. Even training is just as much mental as it is physical. My focus includes endurance, agility training, and the 3 point/mid-range/ low post game of basketball. A typical session would start with a dynamic warm up, to break a sweat and stretch the muscles sans static stretching. From there, agility work focusing on foot/lateral speed, reaction time, techniques to make the player utilize the most with their movement. A break is then followed by the basketball portion of the workout. All offensive areas of the floor will be covered including the low post/ block area, mid-range/free-throw area, and the 3 point area. The workout session is ended with light endurance training, followed by a quick stretching session to then conclude the workout.

Coach Aaron is excellent. He is gifted at getting the "hustle harder" out of my son. Knowledgable about the game and quickly assessed the needs of my son to get the best out of each practice session with him. Looking forward to many more.

Coach Aaron has been working with my middle school children (7th grade boy and 6th grade girl) They have advanced skills, yet Coach Aaron’s drills challenges their abilities. He has worked with them individually and simultaneously. Aaron is a great motivator. My kids enjoy the hustle in his routines!
Ann (CoachUp client)
What a find! Coach Aaron is professional & friendly. His work ethic is great. Always on time and ready to work hard with my middle school-aged son. Only after 2 sessions, we have seen definite differences in our son's ball handling and shooting. Looking forward to working with Coach Aaron for many more sessions!
