I have been a personal trainer and MMA coach for seven years both privately and for elite fitness clubs in Westwood, Marina Del Rey, and West L.A. I have received extensive private MMA instruction as well as group training with amateur and pro fighter teams through independent training clubs and various fight gyms. My knowledge and training consists of Boxing, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, and Wrestling. I have competed in Jiu Jitsu tournaments as well as MMA cage fights.

I am an experienced and certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and I have a Level 2 Kettle Bell certification through Kettle Bell Athletics. I have trained many athletes, celebrities, doctors, lawyers, and business people of all types. I welcome men and women of all ages and skill levels. I also have a lot of experience dealing with injuries, post-rehab training, corrective exercises, and injury prevention.

My training style Hybrid Cross Training, is a mix of martial arts, kettle bells, TRX, and body weight training that maximizes the body for metabolic conditioning as well as mixing flexibility with mobility. My training methods are unique and relative to each clients personal needs and skill levels. Through comprehensive programming and years of experience, I can provide you with a fun and effective way to get in shape, stay injury free, and learn self defense while at the same time boosting your metabolism, burning fat, and becoming stronger and leaner.

My first meeting with a new client starts with a physical assessment consisting of base line measurements and setting up specific goals that are realistic and time manageable. I also do and FMS or functional movement screen to assess my clients movement patterns as well as checking for any imbalances or weakness that could lead to injuries or problem areas. All of this information is crucial to my programming process in order to write a specific program based on each clients individual needs.

Each session starts with a dynamic warmup consisting of activation exercises, stretches and movement patterns specific to each client. This ensures a proper warmup of the entire body as to prevent injuries and to get the most efficient workout possible.

The workout then consists of total body movements emphasizing core/trunk stabilization by utilizing Kettle Bells, Body Weight Movements, Free Weights, and TRX exercises. I call it Hybrid Cross Training and it is meant to maximize the body's metabolic system in order to burn fat, build muscle and stay injury free.
