I will discuss the athlete's goals and areas he/she would like to improve and give guidance on setting realistic and attainable goals. We will write down and review goals and track progress.

I will utilize warm-up drills which will incorporate fundamental skills taught to me by NBA Strength Coaches from multiple teams including the Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks.

I will assess skill level, strengths, and weaknesses in our initial session to help develop an effective workout plan for future sessions to maximize the athlete's progress in reaching their goals.

We will focus on the fundamentals of the game with each session personalized tailored to the athlete. This will include communication, shooting, defending, ball handling, footwork, court awareness, and more.

I will stress the importance of the virtues listed below in all aspects of the athlete's life including basketball, academics, and family:
Modesty: To be humble, not to show off
Courtesy: Being polite, showing kindness to others
Integrity: Truth, choosing to do the right thing
Gratitude: To be thankful for, and to appreciate all that we have
Perseverance: To never give up
Self-Control: Maintaining discipline over your emotions, actions, and words
Indomitable Spirit: The humble energy we have inside us that keeps us going

Client Reviews

Coach Todd recently began working with my son to develop his basketball skills. I could not be more pleased with the work Todd is doing. My son respects Todd and can't wait to schedule another session. Coach Todd's passion for the game, as well as his natural ability to teach the game, is obvious. I am also very impressed that Coach Todd takes the time to stress goal-setting and discipline. We will definitely be scheduling more sessions with Todd.
