Event Description:

CoachUP and Bando Hockey are excited to offer a high-repetition, high-intensity synthetic ice training program designed to elevate on-ice performance through focused skill work.


Each 1-hour session gives players the reps they simply can’t get in a normal rink environment—allowing them to sharpen fundamentals, build confidence, and develop game-ready habits.

1. Synthetic Ice Skill Development (60 minutes)

Shooting

  • Quick release, accuracy, and shot mechanics
  • One-touch and catch-and-shoot reps
  • Situational shooting under pressure

Passing

  • Precision passing (forehand & backhand)
  • Give-and-go patterns and touch passing
  • Passing on the move and in tight spaces

Stickhandling

  • Puck control, hand speed, and creativity
  • Deception moves and edge-work simulation
  • Tight-area puck protection reps


2. Strength & Conditioning with BANDO Performance (60 minutes)


Tailored to Hockey's demands: explosiveness, lateral quickness, stamina

  • Warm-Up & Mobility
  • 3 Dimensional Dynamic warm-up focusing on different movement techniques/strategies. 
  • Full body mobility and flexibility 
  • Strength Training
  • Full body strength training, education and execution of basic foundational exercises that yield the most results for increasing athletic performance.
  • Explosiveness & Agility
  • Vertical and horizontal force development
  • Rotational Power and core stability development
  • Speed development (resisted or un-resisted)
  • Conditioning / Game Shape
  • Metabolic conditioning for the sport of Hockey
  • Partner competition drills to mimic tryout intensity
