These training opportunities are open to all athletes, regardless of your skill level and training focus. I am able to accommodate middle school runners, high school runners, collegiate runners and adults. I can help you pursue your goals whether you are training for fall track, cross country, local 5ks, half and full marathons. Each athlete who attends regularly (signed up for 7 or more training dates), will have an individual training plan designed for them that will be progressive and flexible from the first training session to the end. However, if you already have training plan that you are following or will be following, I will provide motivation and accountability to help you stick with your plan. On days when we are not meeting, you would be expected to follow the plan you are using (mine or your own) in order to optimize your results.
We will use different training locations to optimize our workout goals. Tekakwitha Forest Preserve will be our main location. Other locations include Thompson Middle School and the Great Western Trail. Athletes will receive a training schedule that will include locations on June 12th (the 3rd training date). June 5th and 7th will be at Tekakwitha Forest Preserve.
Athletes do not need to sign up for all the training dates, but I ask that you sign up for as many as you are able to attend. Consistency is a key component to successful training!
