Event Description:

Middle School Elite Soccer Performance Program:


This 8-week high-performance training program is designed for serious middle school athletes looking to elevate their game. Combining CoachUp’s advanced on-field instruction with Bando Performance’s strength and conditioning, this program focuses on developing technically sharp, physically prepared, and tactically intelligent players.

Each 2-hour session is structured to mirror the demands of high-level play, integrating intensity, decision-making, and competition throughout.

  • 60 minutes of elite on-field training focused on technical execution under pressure, speed of play, and game-realistic scenarios
  • 60 minutes of performance training designed to build explosive speed, strength, agility, and durability

Who This Program Is For (Advanced Player Criteria)

This program is intended for advanced middle school players who:

  • Currently play travel, club, or academy-level soccer
  • Demonstrate strong foundational technical skills (passing, receiving, ball control)
  • Are comfortable playing at high speed with limited time and space
  • Are motivated, competitive, and open to coaching
  • Are looking for a challenging, fast-paced training environment

Note: This is not a beginner-level program. Sessions are designed to push players and replicate the intensity of higher-level competition.

Session Breakdown

1. On-Field Skill Development (60 minutes)

Technical Mastery Under Pressure

  • Advanced ball mastery with tempo and directional changes
  • First touch development across all surfaces under pressure
  • Wall work with movement, scanning, and quick decision-making

Passing & Positional Play

  • One and two-touch passing in tight spaces
  • Receiving under pressure with limited time and space
  • Combination play and movement patterns (give-and-go, third-man runs)

1v1 / 2v2 Competitive Situations

  • Attacking creativity and defensive discipline
  • Change of pace, direction, and separation
  • Competing in tight spaces with immediate transitions

Tactical Awareness & Game Intelligence

  • Spatial awareness, scanning, and decision-making
  • Understanding spacing, angles, and off-ball movement


2. Strength & Conditioning with BANDO Performance (60 minutes)

Tailored to Soccer's demands: explosiveness, lateral quickness, stamina
  • Warm-Up & Mobility
  • 3 Dimensional Dynamic warm-up focusing on different movement techniques/strategies. 
  • Full body mobility and flexibility 
  • Strength Training
  • Full body strength training, education and execution of basic foundational exercises that yield the most results for increasing athletic performance.
  • Explosiveness & Agility
  • Vertical and horizontal force development
  • Rotational Power and core stability development
  • Speed development (resisted or un-resisted)
  • Conditioning / Game Shape
  • Metabolic conditioning for the sport of Soccer
  • Partner competition drills to mimic tryout intensity
