You've probably heard about all the fabulous benefits of yoga: reducing tension, fatigue and anxiety, clearing your mind, getting deeper sleep, reducing pain, increasing range of motion, and reducing the negative effects of stress (just to name a few!) But if you don't know where to begin, then this workshop is for you!

This intimate workshop offers a safe, nurturing and inspiring setting to begin your yoga journey. You will leave the workshop understanding basic yoga techniques and foundation poses to help you feel confident in a group class. 

I  will guide you through the following:
• brief background on what yoga is
• common and simple breathing exercises to help you center and relax
• foundation postures and how to adapt them to your needs
• how linked postures work together in vinyasa yoga flows
• how to modify postures uniquely to your body
