Soccer – Peak Performance Skill & Athletic Development (Ages 11-14)
This 6-week program combines on-field soccer skill training with performance-based athletic development to build confident, well-rounded players. Each session blends technical ball mastery, passing, movement, and tactical awareness with BANDO Performance strength and conditioning. Players will improve balance, strength, coordination, speed, and endurance — all while having fun through high-energy drills.
1. On-Field Skill Development (60 minutes)
Technical Skill Work
- Wall Work & First Touch: Receiving and redirecting passes off the wall; controlling with inside, outside, and sole.
- Short Passing & Possession: 2- and 3-player passing sequences with movement and communication.
- Dribbling Under Pressure: Change of pace, directional control, and shielding.
Finishing & Decision-Making
- Shooting from various angles and distances.
- 1v1 attacking and defending drills.
- Quick transitions from interception to counterattack.
Tactical Understanding
- Positional Tactics
2. Strength & Conditioning with BANDO Performance (60minutes)
- Warm-Up & Mobility
- 3 Dimensional Dynamic warm-up focusing on different movement techniques/strategies.
- Full body mobility and flexibility
- Strength Training
- Full body strength training, education and execution of basic foundational exercises that yield the most results for increasing athletic performance.
- Explosiveness & Agility
- Vertical and horizontal force development
- Rotational Power and core stability development
- Speed development (resisted or un-resisted)
- Conditioning / Game Shape
- Metabolic conditioning for the sport of Soccer
- Partner competition drills
