āļøFocus: The focus of this 2 day camp is to get each athlete back acquainted with the sport of football, mentally and physically, from a functionality standpoint, before the start of spring ball!. No matter the age or skill level, or however long the athlete has been playing, this camp is beneficial for all!.
āļøThe athletes will learn how to stretch properly with a dynamic warmup bounce around first and foremost!. Iāll demonstrate and weāll talk about the stations and drills that theyāll do before hand, there will be a water break, and at that point weāll jump right into the camp!.Ā
āļøThe athletes will then go through a number of vigorous high athletic drills that will test their hand & eye coordination, lateral quickness, awareness, body control, & overall mobility!
āļø They will learn a lot about their body from a functional standpoint as a young athlete! They will be challenged, itāll be competitive and they will leave better athletes than how they arrived! A lot of kids go into a football season, experienced or not, and havenāt been taught the basics of functionality and how to move as an athlete first! How well can an athlete move their body, can you accelerate and decelerate with control, do you have lateral quickness without tripping over your feet?. Are all golden questions and concerns for the sport of football!Ā
āļøAnd attending this camp will teach each athlete about those components!.Ā Ā This also will be a good way to give the young athletes an opportunity to knock that off-season rust off before reuniting with their team for the spring!
