The Bando Performance Evaluation & Testing Clinic is a free monthly open-house event designed to help athletes understand where they currently stand for their age group.
This clinic is open to:
- High School Athletes
- All Sports
The goal is to provide athletes and families with meaningful data, real context, and a clear picture of current strengths and areas for improvement. Bando Performance in Worcester will be doing these every month to allow our athletes in the community to see where they are at and if they are getting better.
What Athletes Will Test
Athletes will complete the following performance tests:
- OVR Vertical Jump (lower-body power)
- OVR Drop Jump (reactiveness and explosiveness)
- Broad Jump (measured in inches)
- Max Pull-Up Test (upper-body strength endurance)
Speed and change-of-direction testing will include:
- 1+10 Sprint Test
- 10+10 Sprint Test
- 5–10–5 Agility Test
All jump and sprint metrics will be collected using our OVR Jump Mat and Speed Gates, providing accurate and reliable results.
No Max Barbell Strength Testing
This clinic will not include max testing such as bench press, squat, deadlift, or cleans.
With the size of the clinic and varying athlete experience levels, we prioritize a reward-over-risk approach. If your athlete is interested in strength testing or more structured training, we can address that through our Athletic Performance Groups during the week.
Post-Clinic Results
Following the clinic, each family will receive an email with:
- Full testing results
- A simple breakdown of what the numbers mean
- Context for athletic development
- Suggested next steps for improvement
Our mission is to support the Worcester athletic community by providing access to professional-level testing, coaching, and education. Cwench (electrolytes) will be available for cash purchase during or after the session.
