Registration Required. The sliding clinic is designed for softball players from ages 8 to 14.

This clinic is specifically designed to build players confidence at sliding and teach them proper and safe form.

11:05 a.m.       Dynamic Warmup

11:10 a.m.      Sliding Fundamentals

11:55 a.m. Group huddle / End of training

Coach Tim’s group training, camps, and clinics are designed to provide age-appropriate softball instruction, conditioning, and team environment opportunities for athletes. Every session is custom designed to develop the overall skills, game knowledge, and interest in the game of softball for each attendee and prepare them for a travel or recreational season. The focus is on having fun, staying safe, and growing as an athlete and as a person. Coach Tim utilizes a positive coaching framework called “double-goal coaching” developed by the Positive Coaching Alliance which prioritizes mental toughness. The intensity level of each session is based on the age and skill level of the group, goals for the athletes/parents, etc. and is regularly reviewed/evaluated.

If this is your athlete’s first-time attending Coach Tim’s training, they will receive a post-event skills evaluation. All athletes will also receive post-training feedback provided via the CoachUp platform to include suggestions for skills that can be worked on privately: yes, homework!

Please note: If weather or illness prevents the clinic from being held on schedule, all registrants will receive full credit to attend a re-scheduled event.
