Soccer – Peak Performance Skill & Athletic Development (Ages 6–10)
This 6-week program combines on-field soccer skill training with performance-based athletic development to build confident, well-rounded players. Each session blends technical ball mastery, passing, movement, and tactical awareness with BANDO Performance strength and conditioning. Players will improve balance, coordination, speed, and endurance — all while having fun through high-energy drills and competitive games.
1. On-Field Skill Development (60 minutes)
Technical Foundations
- Ball Mastery: Inside/outside touches, sole rolls, and toe-taps to improve control and coordination.
- Wall Work: Short passing repetitions off the wall to develop timing, first touch, and awareness.
- Balance & Stability Drills: Control on one foot, catching and juggling variations to promote balance.
Passing & Movement
- Short Distance Passing: Partner passing through cones, working both feet.
- Receiving Under Pressure: Simple “check-in/check-out” movements before receiving the ball.
- 1v1 Challenges: Focus on dribbling moves (scissors, pull-backs, step-overs).
Tactical Understanding
- Positional Tactics with film coaching
2. Strength & Conditioning with BANDO Performance (60 minutes)
- Warm-Up & Mobility
- 3 Dimensional Dynamic warm-up focusing on different movement techniques/strategies.
- Full body mobility and flexibility
- Strength Training
- Full body strength training, education and execution of basic foundational exercises that yield the most results for increasing athletic performance.
- Explosiveness & Agility
- Vertical and horizontal force development
- Rotational Power and core stability development
- Speed development (resisted or un-resisted)
- Conditioning / Game Shape
- Metabolic conditioning for the sport of Soccer
- Partner competition drills
