Event Description:

Build fundamental baseball skills while improving athleticism in this dynamic 8-week program. Players will refine hitting mechanics, develop fielding and throwing consistency, and enhance overall performance with Bando Performance strength and conditioning. Each session blends skill-specific drills, game-like challenges, and fun, competitive activities to keep young athletes engaged and moving. Perfect for players looking to gain confidence, speed, and control on the field.


CoachUp Skills (60 minutes)

Advanced Hitting Development
  • Dynamic Load & Rotation: Focus on staying balanced through the swing and generating power from the lower half.
  • Front Toss Line Drives: Controlled front toss with emphasis on barrel control and hitting to all fields.
  • Timing & Contact Progressions: Step-in timing drills to match rhythm and hand-eye coordination.
  • Target Practice Drill: Hitting whiffle balls or tennis balls at field targets for accuracy and control.
  • Competition Round: Points-based hitting challenge for consistent contact and approach focus.
Fielding & Throwing Progressions
  • Glove-to-Throw Transition: Emphasizing quick, smooth transfers and accurate throws to a target.
  • Ground Ball Footwork: Short hop and side-to-side grounder drills to reinforce proper angles and glove presentation.
  • Fly Ball Tracking: Tennis ball pop flies — players track the ball, call it, and move under control to catch.
  • Reaction Drills: Coaches roll or toss balls with varying speeds and directions to develop quick reads and soft hands.
  • Fielding Circuit: Players rotate through short stations (grounders, backhands, short toss throws) for maximum reps.

2. Strength & Conditioning with BANDO Performance (60 minutes)
