Summer Technique Training will be an intense, high-energy event structured to teach, advance, and showcase skills. The six-hour training session on Saturday will include motion, jump, stunt, and tumbling critique and training sessions. Athletes will also learn an age-specific cheer and dance. Sunday's two-hour session will include a review of all material and a performance for parents, relatives, and friends.
Saturday: 9 am- 3pm
*Lunch will be from 11:30 am-12:15 pm and athletes are expected to bring their own lunches
Stretch and warm-up training- All athletes will be taught proper stretches and warm-ups as to not injure themselves
Motion training- All cheerleading motions will be taught and critiqued.
Jump training- All cheerleading jumps will be taught and critiqued.

Right/Left Hurkey
Right/Left Hurdler
Double Nine
Tumbling training- Athletes will be given time to practice skills they are COMFORTABLE performing without a spotter present. These skills will be critiqued, but not taught.
Stunt training- Athletes will be given a chance to try all stunt positions in which they are interested.
Cheer and dance class- Athletes will be taught cheer and dance routines that are age-appropriate. These routines will be showcased on Sunday.
Sunday: 10 am- 12pm
10-11: Review of cheer and dance routines learned on Saturday
11-12: Performance of routines
