Event Description:

Clinic Breakdown

1. On-Field Football Skill Development (60 minutes)

Offensive Line Development

  • Advanced Stance & Starts: explosive first step, pad level control
  • Drive Blocking Progressions: 1v1, 2v2 reps with resistance
  • Pulling & Trapping Drills: footwork for guards, timing on the move
  • Pass Protection: mirror drills, hand punch placement, kick slide footwork

Defensive Development

  • Block Shedding: rip, swim, and push-pull techniques
  • Pursuit & Angles: tracking ball carriers in space, containment drills
  • Tackling Progressions: shoulder leverage, open-field angles, tackling bags + partner fit
  • Pass Rush: stance, get-off timing, counter moves (swim, club-rip)

Competitive Situations

  • OL vs DL 1v1 and 2v2 battles
  • Edge rush vs pass protection
  • Pursuit & cutback drills against ball carriers
  • Controlled small-sided scrimmage situations

2. Strength & Conditioning with BANDO Performance (60 minutes)

Tailored to basketball’s demands: explosiveness, lateral quickness, stamina


  • Warm-Up & Mobility
  • 3 Dimensional Dynamic warm-up focusing on different movement techniques/strategies. 
  • Full body mobility and flexibility 
  • Strength Training
  • Full body strength training, education and execution of basic foundational exercises that yield the most results for increasing athletic performance.
  • Explosiveness & Agility
  • Vertical and horizontal force development
  • Rotational Power and core stability development
  • Speed development (resisted or un-resisted)
  • Conditioning / Game Shape
  • Metabolic conditioning for the sport of football
  • Partner competition drills to mimic tryout intensity
