More About Coach Zachary

Former Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Bradford High School, former traveling and tournament baseball coach for Nike Phenom of Wisconsin. I am a very well rounded coach by trade with 15+ years of experience. I've worked with local colleges, trainers and teams developing safe pitching practices to build arm strength, velocity, and arm health as well as properly utilizing tools to analyze athletic movements to include hitting, fielding, and throwing.

Lettered all 4 years at Nekoosa High School (2002 - 2006)
Participated in two Wisconsin State Legion Tournaments (Black River Falls, Waterloo)
Upon graduation, I enlisted in the United States Navy and was transferred to Japan where I played competitive ball for 3 years. (Sasebo Outlaws)

Driveline Certified Trainer. We will be doing a basic warm up with dynamic stretching, throwing drills (to include long toss or a weighted program depending on the age and strength of the player), as well as drills and techniques. This will also include video work in slow motion with detailed analysis and a personalized program for player development. Video analysis will be utilized at the beginning of the sessions to determine where any flaws in movement reside and how they can be addressed. Handouts will can be provided to utilize at home for continued growth.

Had a cool training with the coach, cant wait to get better with him, knows baseball and will improve you

My son was in a hitting slump and needed some work on his swing. Coach Zach contacted us immediately and was very responsive to my messages. He accommodated my very busy schedule and was willing to meet immediately to help my son feel confident about his next game. Coach Zach took videos of my son hitting in order to pin point the problem. He taught my son how to correct his swing and used a drill to help teach him the proper technique. Coach Zach is a very skilled coach and knowledgable about baseball. After meeting with us for two sessions, Coach Zach reached out to us to see how my son did at his baseball game. Coach Zach is not only professional and knowledgable but also cares about his students and wants to help them be successful.

I had never done pitching lessons before. I wanted my son to learn how to pitch with no expectations of him being able to pitch for his team. After winter of lessons, Coach Zach increased his velocity and taught him the fundamentals of pitching. He has become one of the teams regular pitchers in just his first year. This was a direct result of the lessons with Coach Zach. He's a great instructor.
