More About Coach Willis

I started coaching recreation basketball in 2007 and then transitioned over competitive aau in 2012. I have been training individual players from middle school level to college players since 2012. I started my own AAU team in 2017. I work with players in 7/8th grade up to seniors in high school and college. I am a Certified Missouri coach and I have been a volunteer boys varsity/Jv coach at Belton Highschool since 2017

I was a member and team captain of second of back to back state group 2 championships for my high school Middle Township in CapeMay courthouse, New Jersey in 1994; as well as winning the swamp fox division of the prestigious Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 1993.
I played on a Western Corridor team in South Korea and a post team at Ft. Hood, TX while serving in the US Army.
Played my college ball at NAIA D1 Park University. Where we made it to the ‘97-‘98 Final Four and our team was inducted into the Wall of Honor.

Skill work Skill work and more Skill work! I focus on build and perfecting whatever skill set a player has when they first work with me. I do not use many props as I believe a player should always be Game Like in their workouts and this helps give them a feel and develops their pace of play better. I am simple and to the point with drills which are combinations of ball handles shooting, passing and moving without the ball into shooting.
