Mr. Buckingham is a retired pro basketball player who started Player development and training classes in 2005 after retiring . we have been working with ladies and men all over the Southeast region from high school, college and professional players in the NBA, WNBA, WBCBL AND THE European Leagues

Mr. Buckingham had the opportunity to reach plenty of his goals not only in Basketball but in life. by playing basketball it gave me the opportunity two get a free education at the University of Clemson not only that but to meet and build relationship with former college players in Pro players . I was born in a small town called Bell Buckle Tennessee picked up my first basketball at the age of 5 . never dream that I will reach these goals in life by becoming the number one power forward in the country in 1989, Georgia player of the year 1989 , coaches All American 1989 and McDonald All American and was ranked number 9 in the country in 1989. my best accomplishment was graduated from Clemson University in 1994 and went on to play professional ball in the USA, CBA and European League's .

Skills taught:

Ballhandling dependent on ability. From basic to Khiry Irving.
Basics of our 3D offense-kickbacks, drops, drifts, nail cuts, through cuts.
Basics of our Zone offense-Pushs, wheels, drags, 21s
Finishing moves dependent on abliity. Campers are grouped to improve. We want them to be challenged where they are. From left hand layups to Princeton twists.
Shot formation. What makes a good shooter and what are the common shooting mistakes.
Moving without the ball. Backdoors, swim moves, curls, and flares.
2 man game-Pick and roll from both ballhandler to screener. Reading the defense and counters based on ability.
Basics of our 3D offense-kickbacks, drops, drifts, nail cuts, through cuts.
1-1 offense and defense with dribble limits and pivot limits.
4 basic post moves. Advanced for those that can handle it.
Speed and agility work-ladders/jump ropes
Defending off the ball-getting through screens, being help ready, rotations and x outs for advanced. Guard your yard!
