I am certified with the U.S.G.T.F. since 1993, passing a 36 hole players ability test and written exams. I have been playing the game since the age of 7. Being taught different methods of the swing by many golf teachers, my knowledge and passion for the game grew. After years of studying most golf swing concepts on my own, I came to believe in the "Hogan Method". But most people can't swing like Hogan, including myself. He's a physical phenom, and it would be a mistake trying to replicate his swing.
In Hogan's book, he shows how the body reacts through biomechanics. I teach this method in a very simple form. The method I enjoy is taught by Jimmy Ballard, one of our great golf teachers of today's pro players. He blends Ben Hogan's ideas with his own mentor Sam (Hogan's good friend on tour) Byrd, which in turn created some of the best professional golfers of our era...Curtis Strange, David Duval, Rocco Mediate, Sandy Lyle, Hal Sutton and the greatest lady pro golfer of all times, Annika Sorenstam.
I have taught at all levels and ages. Also studied the best techniques to use so my students can learn and retain the information.

Played high school and college golf and won serval amateur tournaments growing up. My biggest golfing test and highlight was passing my professional players test. A United States Golf Teachers Federation 36 hole players qualification tournament where I placed 2nd in the field. The event earned my player's teaching certification which is a testament to my hard work in the golfing field.

You will learn the key movements of all great golfers. I believe in cutting through all the "Fluff" and getting to the meat and potatoes of the swing. If the player can understand what happens when the ball is contacted with the club, it is much easier to understand everything else. I have helped many golfers using this learning technique, with very good results. It creates quicker learning curbs so you get your desired results. As I teach I will key in on being relaxed. Without a stress-free, relaxed swing it will be hard to achieve the mental skill it takes to manage the game.
