More About Coach Vinh
Most recently had the honor of being a player-coach at AC Houston Sur that competes in the USL League Two Lonestar Conference. Throughout my soccer career I have consistently trained youth academy soccer players, passing on my knowledge and first hand experience on to them. I love providing the standards I have seen at different levels in the US to my students so they can reach their goals and play at their desired level whether it's signing for a professional MLS/USL academy team or to proceed to the college/semi-pro/professional level.
I have been playing soccer since I was 7 and I am currently trying to find my next professional opportunity here in the US (I am a winger/outside back/midfielder). In my youth career I played at the highest level the US has to offer with Chicago Fire MLS Academy for 2 years and Barca Residency Academy USA for 3 years.
I played 2 years professionally overseas in Vietnam, playing for 4 different teams in the first and second division. Since moving back to the USA, I have been on trial with 2 teams in the USL Championship (USA 2nd division professional) being Birmingham Legion and San Antonio FC along with 2 teams in the 3rd division being Temecula FC and Houston Dynamo 2. Most recently: In July 2026, I went on trial with Chattanooga Red Wolves that compete in USL League One.
Ultimately will vary depending on if you want position-specific training but will usually consist of a thorough warm up, technical warm up, ball mastery, position-specific drills and going through in-game situations, and finishing with fitness and thorough cooldown stretch.
After the session, we will reflect on how you can further improve and how the trainings can be adjusted and can look like going forward to cater to your needs as a player.
