More About Coach Urald
I have various experience with coaching players, unofficially I have put friends, teammates, and children through basketball. Officially, I coached a group of boys and girls while I was out in Germany playing professional basketball and I worked for the YMCA in which I put kids through workouts and led in stretches.
Throughout my basketball career, I have played for various levels . I have been playing basketball since the age of seven, I played high school at West Monroe High School, college at Eastern Arizona College (EAC), and Southeastern Oklahoma State University (SE), and professionally for the Bad Aibling Fireballs in Bad Aibling, Germany. I have also received various awards throughout my playing career at West Monroe, I received honorable mentions in 2-5A basketball, at SE I received Lone Star Conference Basketball All-Conference 1st team, Great American Conference Basketball All-Conference 1st team, Oklahoma Hoops Player of the Week (twice), and Great American Conference Player of the Week (twice) (I was the First Ever). Finally, professionally I helped my team win two championships which were; The Regionalliga II Championship and
Bavaria Cup Championship.
On the very first day we will establish a common ground and a standard that we both want to live up to. One of the first things we will do is set some goals, and I will also ask him/her to do specific things; this is the evaluation process. After those things are handled I will design specific drills to further help him/her develop their skills. Those drills will cover all aspects of game from: shooting, dribbling, jumping, defense, conditioning, proper stretching, etc.
