More About Coach Tyler
I have been coaching baseball for about 8 years after a strong playing career, and have trained many younger athletes who are working on developing their skills to perform at a high level. I have coached at the D3 level and D1 levels (Seton Hall & Marist), as well as professional baseball.
I was a 4 year starting infielder at Kean University from 2011-2014 and made 3 College World Series appearances. In 2013 I won the Rawlings National Gold Glove Award at 2B. I was also an all conference player in the NJAC for 2 seasons.
I will run assessments on each player to get a good feel for what their strengths and weaknesses are. The drills I use will be specific to the player, but with an emphasis on game like repitition. The goal is for the athlete to develop the knowledge and tools to make in game adjustments on their own so they can be their own best coach.
These sessions are best for the athlete who truly loves baseball, and takes their development seriously!
